Jean Rosalino is an actor and voiceover from LA
About Jean Rosalino
Jean Rosolino discovered the joy of performing at the age of six. While pursuing her B.A. in Theatre she discovered her love of children’s theatre. She received her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU and founded Youth Stages. For over 30 years Jean taught drama in Minnesota and New Jersey. She now resides in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia market where she performs on-camera for film, television, and commercials, and records voiceovers.
Jean Rosolino recently shot a solo commercial for Finance Genie with The Premise Studios in Lancaster, PA; played principal roles in short films “The Collection” with Wonder Productions in NOVA and “Righteous” with American University in DC; was brutally murdered in a horror film, “The Clowns” (in post); and is looking forward to an upcoming role in an Apple+ series.
On stage in Maryland, Jean played Mom in Ken Levine’s “On the Farce Day of Christmas” at Best Medicine Rep in Gaithersburg; Roberta in “Admissions” and the Library Lady in “Tomás and the Library Lady” at MET; and worked with ESPtheatre playing Ursula in “Much Ado About Nothing,” all in Frederick.
Jean and her home studio are on the roster of voice artists for GraphicAudio where she has recorded audio book characters. She has recorded voiceovers for Kaiser-Permanente (medical narration), Fisher Investments (animation), and The Garden of Voices (podcasts), as well as an animated short, “Doing the Robot.”
Jean is constantly working on her craft with weekly private acting classes with Martin Blank and bi-weekly classes with Actors Club, led by Ken Arnold and Dan Franko. She has teleprompter experience, is non-union, and is an Equity Membership Candidate as a result of her Ensemble work at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ.
Prior to moving to the DMV area four years ago, Jean worked in Theatre for Young Audiences and taught creative drama and theatre classes for over 30 years in New Jersey, where she founded and ran her own company, Youth Stages (www.youthstages.com). Jean is happily married to her best friend (going on 30 years) and is the parent of a talented on-camera and voice actor in LA. She loves gardening, cooking, and playing with Demi, her slightly demented border collie.
